Donna
and Philip Feaver have been growing avocados on
their orchard in Maungakaramea for fourteen years.
Since answering the call from the farmers market
in 2007 Donna has been bringing us farm fresh
Reed and Hass avocado pears, along with seasonal
offerings of potatoes, sweetcorn and a wide variety
of subtropical fruit from their mature orchard
and garden.
For
a wild dessert idea ask Donna for her recipe for
Alligator and Lime Pie - it is exotic and
delicious - it will definitely take you by surprise!
