"I just wanted to say thank you for running the pumpkin competition (2008). Both my 4 and 7 year old entered.  We live in Howick and they grew their pumpkins at my father in law's place out at Whitford. They've had months of fun watching their pumpkins grow and getting to have their Pop involved. Daisy, my 7 year old, won the most unusual pumpkin and she was very pleased.  She carried her pumpkin and her ribbon around to show everyone for a couple  of days.  They also loved the pastries from Wild Wheat (which my 4 year old son thought of as his prize).
